Phonetic Key pad Structure Urdu
Center for Analysis in Urdu Terminology Handling (CRULP) launched a
“Phonetic” keyboard layout edition 1.0 for Ms foundation in Apr 2004 prolonged
from InPage to integrate Unicode personality set for Urdu. This layout is
analyzed again considering the reviews on current layout.
The analyzed layout “CRULP Urdu Phonetic” edition 1.1 is suitable with
Unicode 5.1. The new edition is also suitable with Ms Windows vista.
Some new figures have been included which are in Unicode 5.1 but not in
the previously keyboard layout. The new edition has three (Base, Move and AltGr
(Right Alt or Alt+Ctrl)) encounters. Primary figures are mostly placed on the
same unique positions; typical diacritics are placed on the Move layout and
some less typical diacritics, honorifics and indication are placed on AltGr
(Right Alt or Alt+Ctrl) layout.
